Get out of our way, cause
we're heading for the lead.
WE WILL KEEP YOU
POSTED..........
A PARENTS PERSPECTIVE
Sometimes we can't help but laugh at the occasional looks of horror when we
tell someone what Cody does for a sport activity.
Is this sport a bit dangerous???  Well.............
It does have a certain element of danger associated with the speeds.

So are football? Baseball? Soccer? Martial Arts?  And the list goes on, some
are obviously more dangerous than others.
Can any of these few cause bruises, cuts and scrapes.......or possibly a broken
bone, of course they can.

Developing driver skills, common sense, and reactions  help to keep Karting a
fun and safe family activity that helps keep the kids off the streets.

Karting safety gear must be in good shape and up to date.
SNELL 2000 approved helmets, neck brace, racing gloves, protective suit or
approved racing jacket are all mandatory and some like Cody also wear a rib
and spine protector.
Can't be too safe, can we???
Situations happen quickly on the track and the best we can do is to teach
them  to use their heads and drive responsibly NOT recklessly.
In the long run, this helps to protect themselves and the other racers on the
track.
Racers have to trust each other, some racers are more experienced and
skilled than others and unfortunately occasionally mistakes can happen.
The fact is, this is a sport of skill and luck, anyone can win on any given day
and thats what makes Kart Racing so exciting to be a part of.

As Cody's parents we can see that he has the desire and potential to excel in
karting.
He's a proven winner and with that in mind it was our decision to help him
fulfill  his dreams of karting at the next level.
To let him experience what racing is all about.
To quench his thirst for speed.

Important to note.
Proper behavior and doing well in school are necessary to enjoy the karting
privilege.

Unfortunately we had to keep him from racing 3 times during the 2004/2005
season and 2 races in the 2007 season for school related issues.

"WOLTJER"   WALBORO  WB55A Blueprinted Carburetor and a specially

In the 2004/2005 season Team RAMPAGE used an ALFANO  Digital Data

Engine Temp, Lap Times and more.
I
n the 2005/2006 season we will be using an AIM MyChron3 system for our
Digital Data Acquisition.

Theres lots of other goodies on this kart.......too many to list.
Leaded Racing Fuel specially mixed with Castor Oil  to 103 Octane along with
the right gearing,  can push his kart  between 50-80 mph in the 100cc YAMAHA
JR. SPORTSMAN class .

Team Rampage did a kart shake down and break in at the 103rd Street Racing
Complex in Jacksonville in August of 2004, running approx. 400 laps over two
days in 95 deg. Weather.

Cody's a real trooper.

TEAM RAMPAGE joined the TRICITY KART CLUB, Pinellas Park, Fl. In September
2004.
Cody raced in the YAMAHA JR. SPORTSMAN class and finished 4th in points for
the 2004/2005 season .
He lost alot of points this year due to bad grades and not being allowed to race.
Oh Well........School comes first.

Cody finished 2nd in points for the 2005/2006 season.
